Project Planning
Your Vision
- Our process begins with an initial consultation. During your consultation, our team will discuss the key design elements, layout, and any other necessary information to gain a full grasp of the project and your vision.
Design Projection
- Once the essential details have been acquired a review of the initial project layout will occur. This layout will be provided by your architect, interior designer or created by our team. After everything has been analyzed our team will create a comprehensive project estimate of expected costs. The estimate will be provided complimentary and will be broken down based on the room(s) or space.
Finalized Design
- Following the estimate, our team will begin to fully design your project. Our designers and craftsmen will start by creating full 3D renderings or reviewing those provided by your architect or interior designer. Once completed, they will evaluate each intricate detail to ensure everything is reviewed and functional. Our team will also visit the job site to become familiar with the project environment and check measurements. After the designs are finalized and approved, a contract will be provided, and a 50% installment of the total project estimate will be required.
Production and Installation
- Once the contract has been signed a project delivery date will be provided and our team will begin the detailed process of making your dream a reality. Your custom woodwork will be hand-crafted using the greatest deal of care. After its completion and as it awaits delivery, 50% of the remaining installment will be due. At this point, we will also coordinate with you and your project partners to schedule our team for installation.
Project Review
- At the last stage of our process, we want to hear from you. After the installation is completed, your Project Manager will reach out to you for a project review. They will answer any questions you may have and ensure that our work meets your expectations. Most importantly, the project will be finished as it started, with personalized customer service.
Customer Care Tips
General Maintenance
- Moisture is the worst enemy of all coated wood. Prolonged exposure to moisture can cause permanent damage.
- All spills or other liquid should be wiped away at once.
- Avoid draping wet dishcloths or dish towels over cabinet doors.
- Prolonged exposure to excessive humidity should be avoided.
- Surfaces should be protected against excessive heat
- Never put a heat source near finished woodwork.
- Avoid placing kitchen appliances where their heat is directed onto finished surfaces.
- In order to keep the color of the wood and avoid damaging the finish, prolonged exposure to direct sunlight should be avoided as much as possible.
Cleaning
- Before cleaning remove dust. Airborne dust particles may scratch or dull the surface if not properly removed before cleaning. Simply wipe the surface with a dampened cloth or weak dishwashing liquid.
- Fingerprints or contaminants from cooking fumes or other sources should be removed regularly to maintain the quality of the coated wood’s appearance. Use a soft, non abrasive, cloth dampened with weak dishwashing liquid. The surface should be then wiped down with a soft dry cloth to remove any excess moisture.
- Weak dishwashing liquid is recommended for cleaning coated wood surfaces – 2 tablespoons of dishwashing liquid in 2 cups of warm water.
- Never use powdered cleaners
- The use of ammonia or alkaline based cleaners or that contain abrasive additives will adversely affect the coated surface and should be avoided.
- Use a soft non abrasive lint free cloth. Cheesecloth, chinos or old t-shirts are good choices.
- Avoid using a dishcloth or sponge which could contain contaminants.
Polishing
- Many polishes can contain silicone which while they are moisture and dirt resistant, can cause buildups and also make touch ups impossible if needed.
- Household polishes can be used on an infrequent basis.
